it is so easy
and satisfying
to accuse another
of causing stumbling

it is so difficult
to turn denying
to investing
in fullness of life

it is so strange
and heretical
to shift dead crosses
to dynamic living

yet having seen the change
difficulty eases
strangeness becomes familiar
and we pick one another up

even while demanding
sameness through denial
freedom surprises – taking up life
affirming good doing
